The K-Array Tornado KT2C is a flush ceiling-mount point source speaker that brings the 2" Tornado driver into ceilings and soffits with a minimal visual footprint. As a compact aluminum ceiling speaker for commercial audio, it delivers 150 Hz – 18 kHz response, 107 dB peak SPL, and 90° x 90° coverage from a recessed enclosure just 125 mm across. Product Description

The KT2C uses the same proprietary 2" high-efficiency neodymium woofer as the surface-mount KT2, with a suspension designed for maximum linear excursion and very low distortion across both speech and music. The difference is mounting: the KT2C ships with ceiling brackets for flush integration into ceilings and millwork, keeping sightlines clean in design-driven interiors.

Wiring lands on a 4-pin Euroblock connector, and the 8 Ω / 32 Ω selectable impedance lets designers load several KT2C units per channel on K-Array Kommander amplifiers running dedicated KT2 presets. The optional KA1-T2H 12V/24V amplifier module converts the passive speaker into a self-powered device. The standard low-impedance KT2C carries EN 54-24:2008 compliance for voice alarm applications (consult the K-Array user guide for configuration requirements). For surface wall mounting choose the Tornado KT2; for 70V distributed systems the KT2C-HV; and for white ceilings the KT2CW.
