The K-Array Tornado KT2 is an ultra-compact 2" point source speaker carved from solid aluminum and engineered for high-quality distributed audio systems in commercial spaces. Measuring just 2.91" square, this compact aluminum installation speaker delivers a 150 Hz – 18 kHz frequency response with 107 dB peak SPL from a surface-mount enclosure small enough to disappear into any architectural design. Selectable 8 Ω / 32 Ω impedance, an IP65 weather rating, and EN 54-24:2008 compliance make the Tornado KT2 a flexible wall-mount commercial speaker for both indoor and outdoor installations. This is the black low-impedance model; a 70V version and ceiling-mount versions are also available.

Product Description

The Tornado KT2 houses a proprietary 2" high-efficiency neodymium woofer with a suspension engineered for maximum linear excursion and minimum residual transducer interference, reproducing both speech and music with very low distortion. Its 90° x 90° conical coverage delivers uniform dispersion even in acoustically challenging rooms, and the included wall bracket makes fixed installation on walls and surfaces straightforward.

Connection is via a 4-pin Euroblock connector with selectable 8 Ω / 32 Ω impedance, so integrators can run multiple units per amplifier channel on K-Array Kommander amplifiers or convert the speaker into a self-powered device with the optional KA1-T2H 12V/24V amplifier module.
