The Extron IPCP Pro 555Q xi control processor is a compact, high-performance IP Link Pro control processor built for commercial AV control systems that require an isolated AV network. This Extron quad-core control processor pairs a quad-core CPU with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of Flash, delivering four times the memory of standard IP Link Pro multi-network processors for faster project uploads, quicker runtime performance, and more sophisticated programming.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports give the IPCP Pro 555Q xi a dedicated, secure AV LAN alongside the corporate LAN. The AV LAN isolates local AV devices from the corporate network, controlling connected equipment while safeguarding it from outside intrusion or interference. An onboard DHCP server for the AV LAN automatically distributes IP addresses and network configuration parameters to connected AV devices, streamlining setup and ongoing management. The LAN port still permits discovery, setup, and firmware updates for Extron devices on the AV LAN, making this Extron IP Link Pro control processor well suited to large meeting spaces, classrooms, command-and-control rooms, and any deployment controlling multiple devices and signal types.
