The Extron IPCP Pro 550 xi control processor is a versatile, high-performance IP Link Pro control processor designed for centralized AV control in larger applications. This Extron IP Link Pro control processor features an upgraded single-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of Flash — twice the memory of the standard IP Link Pro series — for faster project uploads, quicker runtime performance, and more sophisticated control programs.

Gigabit Ethernet and advanced security standards make the IPCP Pro 550 xi compatible with multiple TouchLink Pro touchpanels, Network Button Panels, and IPL EXP expansion interfaces over a standard network infrastructure. With eight serial ports, eight IR/serial ports, eight relays, four Flex I/O ports, and four switched 12 VDC outputs, this commercial AV control processor is well suited to controlling multiple devices and signal types in conference rooms, lecture halls, auditoriums, and similar spaces.

The IPCP Pro 550 xi is configured with Global Configurator Plus or Global Configurator Professional, or programmed with Extron control system software. GlobalViewer Enterprise adds centralized AV resource monitoring, management, and control across a network, and the processor supports Extron LinkLicense to expand system functionality. A central deployment feature lets the primary processor automatically push system files to touchpanels, processors, and button panels as they come online.
