What is the Extron 101-006-01 captive screw connector?
The Extron 101-006-01 is a 10-pack of 3.5 mm, 4-pole blue captive screw connectors with no tail, made as factory replacement plugs for Extron equipment. Each connector uses a 3.5 mm pitch and handles a four-conductor circuit such as two channels of amplified speaker output, or combined power and control wiring. The compact no-tail body suits rear panels where ports sit close together and cable dressing is handled elsewhere in the rack. What does the Extron 101-006-01 do?
The 101-006-01 gives an installer a removable, screw-clamped termination for 4-conductor wiring on Extron products.
