What is the Extron 100-460-01 captive screw connector?
The Extron 100-460-01 is a 10-pack of 3.5 mm, 5-pole blue captive screw connectors with no tail, made as factory replacement plugs for Extron equipment. Each connector uses a 3.5 mm pitch and handles a five-conductor circuit such as a balanced stereo audio connection (L+, L–, ground, R+, R–) or RS-232 plus IR control. The compact no-tail body suits rear panels where ports sit close together and cable dressing is handled elsewhere in the rack. The 100-460-01 gives an installer a removable, screw-clamped termination for 5-conductor wiring on Extron products.
