The DMA24302 is a 24-channel rack-mount cinema amplifier that uses an advanced high-density Class D design to consolidate amplification into a single 4U chassis. It delivers 600 W per channel at 2 ohm and 4 ohm, 300 W per channel at 8 ohm, and 1,100 W in two-channel bridged mode at 8 ohm and 4 ohm, providing the channel count and headroom needed for larger surround and overhead arrays. The included CAT1416 analog-to-digital converter supplies eight balanced analog audio input channels for direct connection to legacy and current 5.1/7.1 cinema sound processors. Two dedicated Ethernet ports carry digital audio over Dolby Atmos Connect, so the same amplifier supports both conventional and immersive Dolby Atmos installations. A custom-built power supply delivers redundancy, power sharing, operational monitoring, and fault detection, and the unit automatically detects maximum and net power and adjusts channel gains based on power supply, load, and fault conditions. With 24 channels in one chassis, this Dolby Atmos amplifier is well suited to premium large-format auditoriums and screening rooms that need more channels than a 16-channel unit provides without moving to the largest configuration.
