The UC-AUDIO-POD-B-DR1 captures room audio with a 360-degree quad mic array offering a 7.5 ft pickup range and reproduces far-end audio through a single full-range 2-inch speaker with an effective output of 74 dB SPL at 1 m. Onboard DSP provides acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, dynamic noise suppression, and speaker volume control, and the device is full-duplex IEEE 1329 Type 1 compliant for natural, two-way conversation. Capacitive backlit controls handle volume and mic mute, while LED indicators clearly show mute and volume status.

The DR1 variant operates in the 1920–1930 MHz band with 5 channels for US and Canada deployment, with a wireless range up to 50 ft indoors to a paired hub.
