What is the Crestron DM-NVX-370?
The Crestron DM-NVX-370 is a compact Crestron DM NVX AV-over-IP endpoint that works as either an encoder or a decoder. It sends 4K60 4:4:4 HDR video over a standard 1 Gb network with less than one frame of latency, and it adds a built-in 2x1 switcher with HDMI and USB-C inputs. One USB-C cable from a laptop carries video, USB, and up to 100W of charging, which makes it a strong fit behind conference room displays.
What is included?
DM-NVX-370 endpoint
Mounting plates for surface or rack-rail mounting
The PW-2460DU power pack and SFP-1G fiber module are sold separately.

How does the Crestron DM-NVX-370 work?
Set as an encoder, the NVX-370 takes a laptop on USB-C or a source like an AirMedia gateway or codec on HDMI and streams it across the network to any number of decoders. Set as a decoder, it receives a stream, scales it to the display's native resolution, and outputs it on HDMI. Mode changes take under a minute from a control system, the web page, or the SETUP button. It's built on Crestron's DM NVX System on Chip and works with every other DM NVX endpoint, including the DM-NVX-363 and DM-NVX-E760.
eARC on both HDMI ports lets the display's own audio, such as smart-TV apps, go back out as an audio-over-IP stream, and DM NAX integration sends and receives AES67 audio. USB 2.0 and KVM ride with the video, so a keyboard and mouse at the display can run a PC across the building. Large systems are managed with the DM NVX Director or XiO Cloud.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the DM-NVX-370 an encoder or a decoder?
Either one. You set the mode from a control system, the web interface, or the SETUP button.
Can the USB-C port charge a laptop?
Yes, up to 100W, when the unit is powered by the PW-2460DU power pack. On PoE+ alone it doesn't charge.
Does it work with my existing DM NVX system?
Yes. It's interoperable with all DM NVX endpoints and can also work with DM-NVX-D10/D20/D200 decoders and E10/E20 encoders.
What network does it need?
A non-blocking 1 Gb network with Cat5e or better. The SFP port takes a Crestron SFP-1G module for fiber.
Can it build a video wall?
Yes. Use one endpoint per display for walls up to 8 wide by 8 high.
Can Creation Networks design and install it?
Yes. Creation Networks is an Authorized Crestron Dealer and designs, programs, and installs DM NVX systems nationwide. Contact us at 888-230-3661 or sales@creationnetworks.net.
