It manages any-to-any AV-over-IP routing between all 1,000 endpoints on the DM NVX network, replacing traditional dedicated hardware video matrix switchers with a software-defined routing layer that scales to campus-wide AV distribution. Deployed on a customer-provided server, it integrates with Crestron 4-Series control processors for real-time source routing commands from room touch panels and control systems across the enterprise deployment.

The DM-NVX-DIR-ENT provides this at enterprise scale: up to 1,000 endpoints, compared to 80 for the DM-NVX-DIR-80, with the same software-defined virtual switching architecture. 4-Series control systems issue source routing commands to the DM-NVX-DIR-ENT, which manages IGMP multicast group membership and DM NVX stream routing across the enterprise Gigabit Ethernet network to deliver the requested source to the requested display in real time.
