Most Room Vision PTZ installations put the camera on a wall, at or slightly above display height, looking back down the room. This is the bracket for that job and nothing else. Because the Room Vision PTZ runs on one Ethernet cable that carries power, 4K video and camera control together, the bracket only has to manage a single cable, and it is built slim on that assumption. Where a room needs the camera on a ceiling, or where the installation also carries HDMI, this is the wrong part and CS-CAM-RVPTZ-CBKL is the one to specify instead. The two are not interchangeable.

For layout, the figure that matters is the assembly depth. Camera and bracket together occupy 165 mm wide by 200 mm high by 217 mm deep, so the camera stands roughly 217 mm off the finished wall surface. Check that against any millwork, display bezel or acoustic panel near the mounting position before the rough-in is set. The bracket weighs 0.7 kg on its own and carries a 2.3 kg camera, so the total hanging load is modest, but the anchor still has to suit the wall construction. Pick the bracket before the cable is pulled, because the bracket, not the camera, determines where the Cat5e needs to terminate. Bracket, camera and PoE+ injector are quoted as separate line items on the same room, so check all three against the rest of the Cisco room device catalog before the order goes out.
