Product Overview
The BirdDog EYES P400 4K 10-Bit Full NDI PTZ 3-Camera Kit (White) includes three white BirdDog P400 cameras — a complete matched 4K NDI production system for broadcast studios, houses of worship, and auditoriums where white-housed cameras suit the installation environment. Each P400 features an 8.5MP 1/2.5" Sony CMOS backlit sensor, 20x optical zoom, Full Bandwidth NDI® over Gigabit Ethernet, and simultaneous 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs. The all-white configuration is the most common choice for installations with light-colored ceilings and walls.
Product Description
Each BirdDog P400 in this kit uses an 8.5MP 1/2.5" Sony CMOS backlit sensor delivering 4K UHD at up to 4Kp30 with YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit color depth over 6G-SDI. The 20x optical zoom extends via Super Resolution Zoom to 30x in 4K and 40x in HD, giving operators coverage from wide-room shots to tight close-ups from fixed ceiling positions. All three cameras transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® over standard Gigabit Ethernet and output simultaneously via 6G-SDI and HDMI.
Each camera is PoE+ powered (max 26.8W), includes dual RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 RJ45 serial control ports, bi-color tally, 128 speed-adjustable presets, and BirdUI browser configuration with RESTful API support for Crestron, AMX, and Q-SYS integration. Does the P400 support NDI|HX?
No. All three cameras transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® only, requiring Gigabit Ethernet at approximately 140–200Mbps per camera stream.
Is a PTZ keyboard included?
No. This kit includes three cameras only. For centralized control, add the BirdDog KBD PTZ Controller separately.
What other color configurations are available?
