The BirdDog EYES P400 4K 10-Bit Full NDI PTZ 3-Camera Kit (Black) includes three black BirdDog P400 cameras, providing a complete three-camera 4K NDI production system for broadcast studios, houses of worship, auditoriums, and large-venue AV deployments. Each P400 features an 8.5MP 1/2.5" Sony CMOS backlit sensor, 20x optical zoom, Full Bandwidth NDI® over Gigabit Ethernet, and simultaneous 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs. Product Description
Each BirdDog P400 in this kit uses an 8.5MP 1/2.5" Sony CMOS backlit sensor delivering 4K UHD at up to 4Kp30 with YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit color depth over 6G-SDI. The 20x optical zoom extends to 30x via Super Resolution Zoom in 4K mode and 40x in HD mode, giving operators flexible coverage from wide-room shots to tight close-ups in large sanctuaries, auditoriums, and broadcast environments. Full NDI® transmission over standard Gigabit Ethernet means no dedicated video cabling infrastructure is required at each camera position — power, video, and control all travel on a single PoE+ cable.
All three cameras in this kit transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® only (no NDI|HX). They connect directly to any NDI-enabled production platform including TriCaster, vMix, BirdDog Central, and OBS (with NDI plugin). Control is via NDI auto-configuration, VISCA IP, and dual RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 RJ45 serial ports per camera. Bi-color tally and 128 speed-adjustable presets support multi-camera production workflows. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the P400 support NDI|HX?
No. All three P400 cameras in this kit transmit Full Bandwidth NDI® only. This requires Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure capable of handling approximately 140–200Mbps per camera stream. For NDI|HX3 in 4K60, see the BirdDog X5 Ultra.
Is a PTZ keyboard included?
No. This kit includes three P400 cameras only. For centralized multi-camera control, add the BirdDog KBD PTZ Controller separately.
Is this kit available in other color configurations?

What switch infrastructure is required for three Full NDI cameras?
Three P400 cameras at 4K generate approximately 420–600Mbps of aggregate NDI traffic. A managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with at least four ports (three cameras + one uplink) and support for IGMP snooping is recommended to prevent NDI multicast traffic from flooding non-participating ports.
