Product Overview

The Audio-Technica AT2035 is a large-diaphragm side-address cardioid condenser microphone offering smooth, natural sound and low noise at an accessible price. It suits vocals, voiceover, podcasting, and acoustic instruments in broadcast studios, multi-purpose rooms, and houses of worship. A switchable 10 dB pad and 80 Hz high-pass filter adapt it to loud sources and control rumble.

Product Description

The AT2035 delivers a detailed, natural cardioid sound with a large diaphragm and low self-noise, which makes it a dependable studio and content-creation microphone. Its cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound to improve isolation.

Audio-Technica AT2035 side-address cardioid condenser microphone

Frequency response runs 20–20,000 Hz with an open circuit sensitivity of –33 dB (22.4 mV), a 120 ohm impedance, and a 148 dB maximum SPL (158 dB with the 10 dB pad). A switchable 80 Hz, 12 dB/octave high-pass filter controls rumble. The microphone requires 48V phantom power and ships with a shockmount.

For switchable multiple patterns, the AT2050 adds omnidirectional and figure-of-eight; for a higher 40 Series tier, the AT4040 is a step-up cardioid.
