What is the AUDAC MERO6I/W in-wall speaker?
The AUDAC MERO6I/W is a high-end 6" in-wall speaker with a SlimLine grill that nearly disappears into the wall. It is built for premium background music in hotels, corporate spaces, restaurants and residences where speakers should be heard, not seen. It runs at 8 Ω and mounts flush with a quick-fix clamp.
How does the AUDAC MERO6I/W in-wall speaker work?
The MERO6I/W is the largest MERO, pairing a 6" aluminum woofer with a 1" aluminum tweeter angled 7.5° and a 3 kHz passive crossover. It produces 60 W continuous (AES), 88 dB sensitivity and 106 dB max SPL, with response down to 55 Hz (±3 dB). Coverage is 160° x 140°. It mounts in a 174 x 254 mm cut-out with 3.09" of depth. The rectangular SlimLine grill has a 1 mm border, comes in white, and can be painted or swapped for an optional black grill. Wiring lands on gold-plated Gold-Con spring clamps.
