What is the AUDAC ANI44XT Dante network interface module?
The AUDAC ANI44XT is a Dante™ audio network interface with four inputs and four outputs that installs inside compatible AUDAC amplifiers. Once fitted, the amplifier joins any Dante™ or AES67 network and exchanges 48 kHz / 24-bit audio with sources, microphones, mixers and processors from any manufacturer. It is the standard upgrade path for adding networked audio to AUDAC SMQ, SMA, PMQ and MFA series amplifiers in corporate, retail, hospitality and house of worship systems.
How does the AUDAC ANI44XT Dante network interface module work?

The ANI44XT is designed for AUDAC WaveDynamics™ series amplifiers and the MFA mixer-amplifiers. AUDAC lists it as the optional Dante expansion for the SMQ350, SMQ500, SMQ750, SMA350, SMA500, PMQ240, MFA208 and MFA216, among others. The module ships as an installation kit with all accessories needed to fit it into the amplifier chassis, and AUDAC specifies that installation be carried out by qualified technicians. On the network, Dante devices self-configure using DHCP and connect to standard 100 Mbit or 1 Gbit switches through an RJ45 (Ethernet) connector. All four input and four output channels transfer bidirectional 48 kHz / 24-bit audio at the same time, with latency of 2 or 5 ms depending on network load. In an MFA amplifier, the module can share the installed SourceCon™ source or line input across the Dante network to other zones. The XT version adds an updated power supply with lower noise and interference sensitivity, TouchLink™ capability, full AUDAC Touch™ compatibility and AES67 support. That makes it a good fit for decentralized systems where each zone amplifier receives paging from a network console such as the NPM200. Routing is handled in Dante Controller with its graphical routing matrix.
What are the key features of the AUDAC ANI44XT Dante network interface module?
- 4 in / 4 out Dante channels — Four input and four output channels run bidirectionally at the same time.
- Dante™ and AES67 compatible — Exchanges audio with Dante devices from any manufacturer and supports the AES67 protocol.
- 48 kHz / 24-bit audio — Transfers uncompressed digital audio between amplifiers and network sources.
- Low latency — Latency of 2 or 5 ms, depending on network occupation, keeps paging and live audio in sync.
- Standard network hardware — Works on existing 100 Mbit or 1 Gbit switches through an RJ45 connection.
- Plug-and-play setup — DHCP self-configuration and graphical routing reduce commissioning time.
- TouchLink™ and AUDAC Touch™ — The XT version supports TouchLink™ and full control through AUDAC Touch™.
- Complete installation kit — Ships with all required accessories for mounting inside the amplifier chassis.
- 5-year warranty — AUDAC backs the ANI44XT with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
