The IED570CDT-H is a fully programmable touchscreen digital communication station with a handheld microphone for initiating audio/visual announcements, messages, and pages with GLOBALCOM Series Announcement Control Systems, in a CobraNet desktop configuration.

An electret condenser cartridge is positioned in the housing for enhanced frequency response and strong acoustical coupling, producing a full-bodied, intelligible voice signal without the boomy character of close-talk use. As a network appliance, the station can obtain its IP address automatically or be assigned one manually, simplifying setup within managed AV/IT infrastructure. Redundant Ethernet ports and PoE power support streamlined installation, and dedicated power, busy, and ready LEDs give at-a-glance status, with continuous microphone supervision reporting a failed mic before it compromises an emergency page. An auxiliary line-level input supports local background music, and a line-level output serves as a zone feed.
