Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-DM64-RUFX – dLive DM64 MixRack with RackUltra FX is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
What is the Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-DM64-RUFX dLive MixRack?
The Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-DM64-RUFX is the largest dLive S Class MixRack, the DM64, supplied with the RackUltra FX card fitted and listed by Allen & Heath as the DM64U. It provides 64 mic/line inputs and 32 line outputs around the XCVI FPGA mix engine in a 19-inch rack frame. As a dLive MixRack with RackUltra FX, it pairs 16 RackExtra FX with 8 RackUltra FX engines for high-end reverbs, vocal processing and harmonisers. It is built for large venues, houses of worship and touring-grade installs that need maximum local stage I/O.
How does the Allen & Heath AH-DLIVE-DM64-RUFX work?
The DM64 holds the full dLive mix engine: 128 input channels and 64 configurable buses at 96kHz, with 0.7ms latency from MixRack XLR in to XLR out. A dLive surface connects over a dual redundant gigaACE link, and the system can also be run from dLive Director software or tablet apps for surfaceless operation. The fitted RackUltra FX card combines FPGA and ARM processing to run the RackUltra FX collection, including Spaces Reverb Designer, Plate Reverb Designer, Vocal Tuner, Vocal Gridder, Quad Voice Harmoniser, Amp+Cab Distortion, Saturator and Rhythm Delay.
With 64 local inputs, many rooms need no stage expanders at all, while two redundant DX links and three 128-channel I/O ports remain free for Dante, MADI, Waves SoundGrid or gigaACE networking. The Automatic Mic Mixer manages up to 64 microphones across 4 zones for conferences and spoken word. A dedicated ME port feeds personal monitor mixers, and a second hot-swappable PSU can be added for redundancy in permanent installs.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the standard DM64?
It is the same 64-input, 32-output MixRack with the RackUltra FX card factory fitted. Owners of a standard Allen & Heath dLive DM64 MixRack can add the card as an upgrade instead.
Which surface should I pair it with?
Any dLive surface works. Large FOH positions often use the dLive S7000 surface, while smaller booths use a C Class surface.
How do I connect it to a Dante or gigaACE network?
Install an option card in one of the three I/O ports, such as the gigaACE 128x128 networking card or a Dante card. See the full Allen & Heath collection for compatible cards and expanders.
Can the system run without a control surface?
Yes. The mix engine lives in the MixRack, so it can be operated from dLive Director software, tablets or custom control panels.
Does it need extra power redundancy?
A second hot-swappable power supply can be fitted for redundancy, which we recommend for permanent installs and broadcast work.
Who installs and supports the system?
