The Adder ALIF1102T-US is the transmitter unit of the ADDERLink INFINITY 1102 DisplayPort IP KVM extender, designed to send pixel-perfect 2560x1600 at 60Hz video, USB 2.0 and audio from a source computer across a standard 1GbE network. As a single-head DisplayPort IP KVM transmitter, it installs next to the computer — typically in a rack or secure equipment room — and streams the desktop to an ALIF1102 receiver at the operator position. Built on standard IP technology, this KVM over IP transmitter supports CATx or fiber connections and grows from point-to-point DisplayPort KVM extension into a managed matrix with AIM.

Product Description

The ALIF1102T-US connects to the host computer through a full-size DisplayPort input, a USB 2.0 Type-B port with True Emulation, and a 3.5mm audio jack, then encodes the desktop using Adder's spatially-lossless system with 1:1 pixel mapping. The video received at the desk is identical to the video leaving the computer — color accurate, artifact-free and responsive enough for real-time control.

A fixed RJ45 gigabit port plus an SFP cage give installers a choice of CATx or fiber uplinks, with network teaming available for redundant, load-balanced operation in mission-critical systems. Extension distance is not limited to one 100m cable run — each added 1GbE network device provides another 100m/328ft, and fiber transceivers reach much further. USB 2.0 with class control supports graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks and mass-storage devices, and non-HID devices can be disabled for secure deployments.

Each ALIF1100-series unit works as a simple extender or a self-managed distributed KVM switch in which receivers switch among up to 16 sources. Adding the ADDERLink INFINITY Manager (AIM) converts the installation into a scalable digital KVM matrix.
