The Williams AV ANT 029 is a remote rubber duckie antenna kit for 72–76 MHz large-area FM assistive listening transmitters, including the PPA T45, PPA T45NET, and PPA T27. The kit packages a 9-inch rubber duckie antenna with F-connector, a mounting bracket, and a 3-foot RG-59 coaxial cable, letting integrators relocate the antenna just outside an equipment rack for cleaner FM coverage. It is a compact remote-antenna solution for rack-mounted FM hearing assistance transmitters.
Product Description
Mounting an FM transmitter in a rack improves cable management and security, but a chassis-mounted antenna inside the rack will be partially shielded by the metal enclosure. The ANT 029 kit moves the antenna outside the rack: secure the included bracket to the rack rail or an adjacent surface, mount the 9-inch rubber duckie antenna vertically, and connect it back to the transmitter F-connector through the 3-foot RG-59 coax. The short, fixed-length run keeps signal loss minimal while clearing the rack enclosure.
With its 75-ohm nominal impedance, the kit is matched to Williams AV large-area FM transmitters and requires no additional adapters.
