The Williams AV ANT 028 is a 39-inch telescoping whip antenna with a 180-degree pivoting F-connector for 72–76 MHz FM assistive listening transmitters, including the PPA T45, PPA T45NET, and PPA T27. The swivel base lets installers aim the whip vertically even when the transmitter is shelf-mounted or rack-mounted at an angle. It is the standard F-connector whip for these large-area FM hearing assistance systems and an easy replacement part to stock.
Product Description
FM antennas radiate best when oriented vertically, but transmitters do not always sit where a fixed whip can point straight up. The ANT 028 solves this with a 180-degree swivel F-connector at its base: thread it onto the transmitter antenna port, pivot the whip to vertical, and extend it to the full 39 inches for maximum efficiency in the 72–76 MHz band. This makes it particularly useful for transmitters installed on credenza shelves, in shallow racks, or on mobile AV carts.
