The Williams AV TFP 036 is the US replacement power supply for the PPA T27 FM assistive listening transmitter. This wall-style adapter plugs into a standard 120 VAC outlet with US prongs and delivers the 12 VAC output the transmitter requires. Integrators and facilities staff keep the TFP 036 in service stock so a failed adapter never takes an FM hearing assistance channel offline.
Product Description
The PPA T27 compact FM transmitter is widely installed in houses of worship, courtrooms, and meeting spaces for ADA-compliant hearing assistance, and the TFP 036 is its factory-specified power source. Unlike generic DC adapters, this supply outputs 12 VAC at 800 mA — an AC output that the T27 is designed around — so substituting an off-the-shelf adapter is not an option. The wall-mount form factor plugs directly into a duplex outlet or rack power strip with no external line cord to manage. Note that this is the US version: it operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz only and cannot be used in countries with other mains standards.
