The Williams AV PPA R37 HD packages the proven R37 FM assistive listening receiver with a HED 021 folding mono headphone and AA batteries, ready for immediate deployment. Operating across 17 preset wideband channels in the 72-76 MHz band reserved for hearing assistance by the ADA, the receiver pairs with any Williams Sound wideband FM transmitter, making it a straightforward choice for venues, training rooms, and classrooms that prefer over-ear headphones to earbuds.
Product Description
The R37's digitally synthesized tuning delivers stable, clear audio, and a seek button inside the battery compartment steps through all 17 preset frequencies. Channel-lock capability keeps the receiver on the house frequency so guests cannot accidentally retune it, while a combination volume/power dial and green LED status indicator keep operation intuitive for any listener.
The included HED 021 folding headphone provides a 30 mm driver in a comfortable on-ear format that is easy to sanitize and reissue between events — a practical advantage for venue receiver fleets. The 3.5 mm stereo/mono jack also accepts earbuds and neckloops, so telecoil-equipped hearing aid users can couple directly to the broadcast in support of ADA assistive listening compliance. The receiver runs up to 50 hours on two AA alkaline batteries, enters a battery-saving sleep mode after about six minutes without an RF signal, and is rechargeable-ready via an internal battery switch and contacts for Williams Sound drop-in chargers.
