The Williams AV PPA R37-00 is the body-only configuration of the R37 FM assistive listening receiver, supplied with AA alkaline batteries and a belt clip but no earphones. Operating on 17 preset wideband channels in the 72-76 MHz band reserved for hearing assistance by the ADA, it works with all Williams Sound wideband FM transmitters.

Product Description

Like every R37, the receiver uses digitally synthesized tuning for stable, clear audio, with seek-button channel selection inside the battery compartment and channel-lock capability that keeps each unit on the house frequency. The combination volume/power dial and green LED status indicator make the receiver simple for any listener to operate, while a low-battery indicator streamlines pre-event fleet checks.

Because the 3.5 mm stereo/mono jack accepts any low-impedance earphone, headphone, or neckloop, the R37-00 is frequently specified for telecoil-equipped hearing aid users who connect with their own neckloop — a common path to ADA-compliant assistive listening provision without consuming bundled earphones. The receiver runs up to 50 hours on the included AA alkaline batteries, enters a battery-saving sleep mode after roughly six minutes without an RF signal, and is rechargeable-ready with an internal battery-type switch and bottom contacts for Williams Sound CHG 3502 or CHG 3512 drop-in chargers.
