Product Overview
The Williams AV CHG 3502 is a 2-bay drop-in charger that keeps a pair of Williams AV body-pack receivers or transmitters charged and ready, with the power supply included. Units dock into the bays with their NiMH AA batteries installed, so there is no battery handling during daily charging routines. For a small assistive listening setup — one transmitter and one receiver, or two receivers — it is the most compact charging station in the Williams AV line.
Product Description
The charger accepts Williams AV 3 V body-packs including the PLR BP1 hearing loop receiver, PPA R37, R37-8, and R38 FM receivers, the PPA T46 FM transmitter, and the WIR RX22-4 infrared receiver. That coverage lets one small charger support whichever assistive listening technology a room uses — FM, infrared, or induction loop. Charging output is 100 mA per bay through a 6 VDC input, fed by the included TFP 041 power supply (100-240 VAC input).
The nominal charge cycle is 16 hours, which fits an overnight routine: dock the body-packs after the last session and they are ready the next morning. Two red LEDs — one per bay — light while charging so staff can verify both units are seated. At under five inches long and 1.1 lbs, the black ABS charger takes minimal space at a reception desk, sound booth, or classroom cabinet.
