Product Overview
The Williams AV BAT KT6 is a 2-bay charger kit for body-pack assistive listening devices, bundling the CHG 3502 dual drop-in charger with two AA BAT 026-2 rechargeable batteries. It converts a pair of Williams AV FM, infrared, or loop body-packs from disposable to rechargeable operation in one purchase. For facilities adding rechargeable charging to an existing receiver pair, the kit covers the charger, power, and cells.
Product Description
The included CHG 3502 charger works with the PLR BP1 loop receiver, PPA R37 and PPA R38 FM receivers, PPA T46 FM transmitter, and WIR RX22-4 infrared receiver. Install the supplied NiMH batteries in the body-pack, set the device to its NiMH setting, and drop it into a bay — the 3 V charging system recharges the batteries inside the unit, so cells stay matched to their devices and battery doors stay closed.
Charging runs 16 hours nominal at 100 mA per bay, suited to overnight cycles, and a red LED per bay indicates active charging. The compact kit measures 7" x 5" x 2-1/16" and weighs 1.3 lbs, taking little space at a sound booth or front desk. Power comes from the included TFP 041 supply with 100-240 VAC input.
If you already own NiMH batteries, the standalone CHG 3502 2-bay charger is available separately. Compatible receivers and transmitters are in the Williams AV collection at Creation Networks.
