The Vizrt PTZ3Remote is the infrared remote control for Vizrt PTZ3 NDI PTZ cameras, offered as a replacement or additional unit. Vizrt specifies the PTZ3 remote as an IR remote that controls up to four cameras and operates the camera's on-screen menu over HDMI and SDI. It gives operators direct camera control in a conference room, classroom or studio without opening a browser.
How does the Vizrt PTZ3Remote work?
On Vizrt PTZ3 PLUS and PTZ3 UHD PLUS cameras, the user interface for on-screen display (OSD) setup is operated through the IR remote, with the menu shown on the camera's HDMI or SDI output. Day-to-day configuration, control and tally are also available through the camera's web interface and NDI Studio Monitor, so the remote is most useful for quick framing, menu access and local troubleshooting at the camera position.
Because one remote addresses up to four cameras, a single unit can cover a typical multi-camera room.
