The Visionary Solutions MOD-DANTE-5 is a Dante/AES67 upgrade module for PacketAV 5 Series endpoints, converting an E5200 encoder into a DuetE-5 and a D5200 decoder into a DuetD-5. For AV over IP installations built on Visionary's 4K60 4:4:4 5 Series platform, the module is the field-upgrade path that adds networked Dante/AES67 audio integration to deployed hardware. It lets commercial integrators standardize on the 5200 platform and enable Dante audio room by room as project requirements evolve.
Product Description
Visionary's E5200 and D5200 surface-mount endpoints deliver 4K60 4:4:4 video over Gigabit Ethernet and are designed as upgradeable to AES67/Dante. Installing the MOD-DANTE-5 module unlocks that capability, giving the endpoint the Dante/AES67 audio feature set of the factory Duet-5 models — network audio embedding and de-embedding alongside full 4K60 4:4:4 video distribution. In practice, this means conference room and training room systems can route program audio to a Dante DSP, drive networked amplifiers such as the PNA-D4 PoE+ Dante amplifier, or join an existing campus Dante audio network without separate audio cabling. Upgrading in the field protects the installed base: video distribution stays untouched while audio capability is added through the module. The MOD-DANTE-5 is specific to 5 Series hardware; for E4200/D4200 endpoints, order the MOD-DANTE module instead.
