Product Description
The Bolt 6 LT 1500 Kit pairs a 3G-SDI/HDMI transmitter and receiver for HD wireless video up to 1,500 feet. TX accepts 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs; RX delivers 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs. Dual-band 5 GHz and 6 GHz operation with DFS channels provides spectrum flexibility for RF-congested venues. AES-256 encryption secures the link; one TX feeds up to four receivers simultaneously. Bolt Manager app provides Bluetooth-connected spectrum analysis and configuration.

Bolt 6 LT Range Comparison: LT 750 vs LT 1500 vs Bolt 6 XT
The Bolt 6 LT is sold in two range tiers that are otherwise electrically identical, so the buying decision is mostly about distance and antennas. If you are shopping for the shorter-range Bolt 6 LT 750, that is a separate SKU (Teradek part number 10-2260) and you should order it here instead: Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Transmitter/Receiver Kit. This page is the Bolt 6 LT 1500 kit (SKU 10-2270). Step up to the Bolt 6 XT only if you need 4K60 over 12G-SDI or on-board image processing.

Short answer: if your longest camera-to-village run is under about 200 ft in a clean environment, the LT 750 is enough. Choose the LT 1500 when you need headroom for stadium bowls, long dolly or Steadicam runs, or venues where the signal has to survive bodies and trussing between transmitter and receiver. Choose the Bolt 6 XT if any part of the chain is 4K60 over SDI.

- 1x Bolt 6 LT receiver
- Lightstand adapter
- Hot shoe adapter

Deployment & Compatibility
- 6 GHz availability - the 6 GHz band is available in the US, EU, Canada, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand. Elsewhere, plan on 5 GHz operation.
- DFS channels - the 5.270 to 5.670 GHz range is DFS. DFS channels give you extra spectrum in crowded venues but the radio must yield to detected radar, so keep non-DFS channels in reserve for critical shots.
- Multi-receiver workflows - one Bolt 6 LT transmitter links to as many as 6 receivers, which covers director, DIT, focus puller, and client-village monitors from a single camera.
- Bolt 4K cross-compatibility - Bolt 6 LT units are cross-compatible with Bolt 4K series devices, so you can add Bolt 6 LT to an existing Bolt 4K inventory rather than replacing it.
- Power - the 6-28V DC input covers 12V and 24V carts as well as 14.4V camera batteries. Combined draw of a TX and RX pair is 20 W.
- Antennas - the 1500 kit ships with both vertical and horizontal antennas. Internal-antenna Bolt 6 LT variants use antennas 75 percent shorter than external-antenna models, which matters on gimbals and in tight rigs.
- Security - AES-256 with RSA-1024 key exchange, suitable for corporate and government productions with encryption requirements.

More Frequently Asked Questions
Is this page the Bolt 6 LT 750 or the Bolt 6 LT 1500?
This is the Bolt 6 LT 1500 kit, SKU 10-2270, rated to 1,500 ft line of sight. The 750 ft version is a different product: Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Transmitter/Receiver Kit.
What is the actual difference between the Bolt 6 LT 750 and the 1500?
Rated line-of-sight range and the antenna set. The 750 is rated to 750 ft and ships with vertical antennas; the 1500 is rated to 1,500 ft and ships with vertical and horizontal antennas. Video formats, latency, encryption, I/O, and power are the same on both.
Bolt 6 LT or Bolt 6 XT - which should I buy?
Buy the LT if your signal chain is HD over 3G-SDI or 4K30 over HDMI. Buy the XT if you need 12G-SDI 4K60, or if you want on-board 3D LUTs, video scaling, frame-rate conversion, anamorphic desqueeze, or Low Power Mode. The XT also offers a MAX range tier beyond the LT's 1,500 ft ceiling.
Does the Bolt 6 LT do 4K?
Partly. Over HDMI it accepts 4K at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, and 30p. Over SDI it is capped at 1920 x 1080p60 because the LT uses 3G-SDI. There is no 4K60 path on the LT - that requires the Bolt 6 XT with 12G-SDI.
How many receivers can one transmitter feed?
Up to 6 receivers can be linked to a single Bolt 6 LT transmitter.
Is the Bolt 6 LT compatible with my existing Bolt 4K units?
Yes. Teradek lists the Bolt 6 LT as cross-compatible with Bolt 4K series devices, so a Bolt 6 LT transmitter can work with Bolt 4K receivers and vice versa.
What is the latency?
Less than 0.001 second without format conversions - effectively imperceptible for focus pulling and live switching.
Can I use the 6 GHz band on my shoot?
6 GHz operation is permitted in the US, EU, Canada, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand. If you are shooting outside those regions, plan the frequency map around 5 GHz.
