Product Description

Although the VX 5.2 is the smallest dual concentric model in the VX range, it produces a punchy, articulate sound well suited to clarity-critical speech and natural vocal reproduction. The dual concentric driver places the high-frequency unit at the acoustic center of the 5" cone for phase-coherent point-source projection, while a second 5" low-frequency driver extends bass response. A passive crossover with dynamic HF protection keeps the system reliable under sustained commercial use. The vented, internally braced 12 mm plywood enclosure is finished in hard-wearing semi-matte black with a powder-coated perforated steel grille.

Rated at 130 W continuous and 520 W peak with 90 dB sensitivity, the VX 5.2 reaches 111 dB continuous SPL from an 8-ohm load. Connection is handled by two Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors plus a barrier strip for input and link-through, simplifying daisy-chained wiring in fixed installs.
