Product Description
The CVS 301-BK uses a 3-inch polypropylene full-range driver with a butyl rubber surround for long-term reliability in continuous-duty commercial systems. Wide constant-directivity dispersion provides even coverage, letting installers space speakers for consistent intelligibility across a zone. Multiple transformer taps support 70V and 100V distributed audio plus 8-ohm direct input, so the same speaker fits small single-zone designs and larger multi-zone systems. With a 20 watt continuous, 80 watt peak rating, it delivers clear background music and paging in restaurants, hotels, and retail spaces.
A UV and weather-resistant ABS front with a plated-steel fire-can enclosure and powder-coated aluminum mesh grille keep the speaker durable in demanding interiors. EN 54-24:2008 Type A certification, UL 1480 certification for fire-protected signalling, and UL 2043 certification for air-handling (plenum) spaces make it appropriate where fire and life-safety compliance is required. A mounting C-ring and ceiling tile rails are included for fast installation, and the strain-relief clamping mechanism accepts fire-rated cable.
