Product Description

The CMS 803DC PI uses Tannoy's third-generation Ceiling Monitor System (CMS 3.0) technology to provide accurate, linear response with high sensitivity. The point-source dual concentric driver places the high-frequency unit at the acoustic center of the low-frequency cone, producing phase-coherent coverage that simplifies speaker spacing in conference rooms, lobbies, and open commercial spaces. Rated at 90 W continuous and 360 W peak, the system delivers the output needed for demanding background music and paging duty.

As the pre-install (PI) model, the CMS 803DC PI ships without a back can so integrators can rough-in the cutout during new construction and add the back can later; the optional CMS 603 PI back can houses a low-insertion-loss 60 W line transformer with an accessible front tap switch, enabling 70V/100V operation or 16-ohm direct input.
