Product Overview
The Symetrix 80-0185 xIO Bluetooth is a Decora-style Dante wall plate endpoint in white for US single-gang electrical boxes that integrates Bluetooth 5.0 wireless audio directly into a Dante network. It is the first single-gang Dante-enabled Bluetooth endpoint in the commercial AV industry, enabling users to stream audio wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to the room’s audio system via the Symetrix DSP — without a separate Bluetooth receiver, audio cable, or additional hardware. Powered over Ethernet via IEEE 802.3af PoE.
Product Description
The xIO Bluetooth provides a clean, wall-mounted Bluetooth pairing point in conference rooms, hospitality spaces, training rooms, and multi-purpose rooms. The Bluetooth 5.0 chipset delivers extended range and stable connection quality, with audio conversion at 24-bit, 48 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of no less than 95 dB. The Bluetooth audio is bridged to the Dante network over the single PoE Cat cable, and all routing and Dante configuration is managed in Symetrix Composer as part of the overall DSP site file. This eliminates the need for table-top Bluetooth receivers, dangling cables, and separate interface boxes in meeting rooms. Also available in black (80-0186).
