How does the SurgeX SX-UPS1000VS8 work?
The UPS-1000-OL sits upstream and converts incoming AC to DC and back to AC so connected equipment never sees a transfer gap during an outage. Its output feeds the SX-VS-128, a 0U Vertical Series+ PDU that mounts along the side rail and carries 8 individually switchable receptacles. Because the Vertical Series+ PDU is IP-controlled, each outlet can be turned on, off, or power-cycled remotely, scheduled, or sequenced, and the unit reports into SurgeX CONNECT and third-party control systems. For integrators, the bundle answers two rack questions at once: how long the rack rides through an outage, and how outlets get managed without spending rack units. The SX-VS-128 is rated 120V/12A on the distribution side.
