SurgeX 17071-01R – Sinergy III 700VA Online UPS, 2U, 120V/15A
What is the SurgeX 17071-01R?
The SurgeX 17071-01R (Powervar ACDEF700-11) is a 700VA Sinergy III online double conversion UPS in a 2U chassis, rated 120V/15A with six receptacles. It gives AV racks, network closets and control systems clean, continuous power with zero transfer time during an outage.
How does the SurgeX 17071-01R work?
Online double conversion means all incoming power is converted from AC to DC and back to AC, so the connected load is always running from the inverter. When utility power drops, the batteries are already feeding the DC bus and there is no switchover gap, which keeps codecs, DSPs and network switches from rebooting. Runtime can be extended with the matching 17888-53R battery cabinet, and the 3000L-01 iSite PRO SNMP card adds network monitoring and safe-shutdown signaling. For larger 120V racks, the SurgeX UPS-1000-OL covers the next size up.
What are the key features of the SurgeX 17071-01R?
- Online double conversion — Zero transfer time for connected equipment.
- 700VA capacity — Sized for a small AV rack or network closet.
- 2U rack chassis — Mounts in a standard 19-inch rack.
- Expandable runtime — Add a matching Sinergy III battery cabinet.
