Product Description
The MX424/C delivers a cardioid polar pattern on a 24-inch gooseneck, as shown in the product image, giving installers maximum reach when the microphone base must sit well below or away from the talker. Its balanced, transformerless preamp output maintains a clean signal across the long cable runs common in distributed commercial AV systems, and Shure CommShield technology rejects RF interference from nearby mobile devices. The microphone ships with a complete installation kit including a shock-mount and flange-mount adapter and a snap-fit foam windscreen for fast table and lectern installation. Because the cartridge is interchangeable, integrators can refit a supercardioid or omnidirectional capsule as room acoustics change.
