The Shure MX412SE/N is a 12-inch gooseneck microphone supplied without a cartridge and configured with a flexible side- or bottom-exit cable, giving AV integrators control over both polar pattern and cable routing. This no-cartridge gooseneck microphone includes a silent mute switch with LED indicator, an in-line preamp, and a 10-foot cable, making it a flexible base for standardized commercial AV deployments in conference rooms and lecterns.
Product Description
The MX412SE/N ships as a 12-inch dual-flex gooseneck with mute switch, LED, in-line preamp, shock mount, and flange mount, but no microphone cartridge. Integrators add the cardioid (R185), supercardioid (R184), or omnidirectional (R183) Microflex cartridge that best matches each room. The SE configuration adds cable routing flexibility: the supplied 10-foot cable can exit from the side or bottom of the mount, which simplifies integration into lecterns and conference tables. The in-line preamp and balanced, transformerless output preserve signal quality over long cable runs, the integrated shock mount rejects surface vibration, and Shure Commshield RF filtering blocks interference from mobile devices.
