The MX412S/N ships as a 12-inch dual-flex gooseneck with mute switch, LED, integrated XLR preamp, shock mount, and flange mount, but no microphone cartridge. Integrators add the cardioid (R185), supercardioid (R184), or omnidirectional (R183) Microflex cartridge that best matches the acoustics of each conference room or house of worship. This no-cartridge gooseneck microphone is ideal for projects that buy goosenecks and cartridges separately to keep inventory consistent across many rooms. The balanced, transformerless output preserves signal quality over long cable runs, the integrated shock mount rejects surface vibration, and Shure Commshield RF filtering blocks interference from nearby mobile devices.
