The MXN5W-C is part of the Shure Microflex networked audio ecosystem and is intended to pair with networked microphones and conferencing processors over a single Dante and PoE infrastructure. The two-way driver system with a 5.25-inch (13.3 cm) woofer is tuned for intelligible speech in conference rooms, huddle rooms, and multi-purpose rooms. Because it is PoE-powered and Dante-connected, a technician can distribute audio across a room or building using standard network cabling rather than dedicated speaker wire and amplifier channels. The unit includes two Dante inputs and one Dante output for flexible signal routing within the AV system. It is UL 2043 plenum rated for installation in environmental air-handling spaces above the ceiling, and the removable, paintable grille blends into the ceiling finish.
