Product Overview
The Shure DB25-XLRF is an 8-channel DB25 to XLR female audio snake that breaks the DB25 input of the Shure SCM820-DB25 mixer out to eight female XLR connectors. It gives AV integrators a direct, labeled path for connecting up to eight microphone or line-level sources into a rack-mounted automatic mixer. The 25-foot length routes cleanly from the equipment rack to a stage box, podium, or input panel in a commercial install. Locking metal connectors keep the link secure in permanent deployments.
Product Description
This DB25 to XLR female breakout snake passes analog microphone and line-level audio into the SCM820-DB25 input connector, terminating in eight female XLR jacks ready to accept standard microphone cables. It is the input-side counterpart used when feeding sources such as gooseneck microphones, wireless receivers, or program audio into the mixer in conference room, boardroom, and broadcast audio systems. The 25-foot run supports flexible rack-mount cable routing between the mixer and a remote input location, and the metal-shelled DB25 connector locks to resist accidental disconnection in a permanently installed AV rack. As pictured, the fan-out construction keeps the eight input legs organized for tidy dressing and fast channel mapping during commissioning.
