Product Description
The BETA 98AD/C pairs a compact, high-output electret condenser capsule with an in-line preamplifier and the A98D drum mount featuring a flexible gooseneck for precise positioning. Its uniform cardioid polar pattern provides excellent gain-before-feedback and off-axis rejection, which helps AV integrators control bleed in dense multi-microphone drum and percussion setups. A wide dynamic range and high SPL capability capture toms, snare, cymbals, brass, and woodwinds cleanly at high levels without crossover distortion. The miniature form factor reduces stage clutter, and the enamel-coated metal construction with stainless steel inner grille withstands daily commercial deployment.
