Product Description
The BETA 56A is a moving-coil dynamic microphone with a frequency response specifically shaped for toms, snare drums, guitar and bass amplifiers, brass, and woodwinds. The uniform supercardioid polar pattern delivers strong rejection of off-axis sound, which improves gain-before-feedback in multi-microphone installations and busy stage environments. A neodymium magnet raises sensitivity and output for a clean signal with a low noise floor. The built-in dynamic locking stand adapter with an integral XLR connector keeps the microphone securely positioned even when struck by a drumstick, reducing setup time for AV integrators and stagehands. A hardened steel mesh grille and enamel-coated die-cast metal housing stand up to daily, rough use in commercial deployment.
