The Shure A900B-R-GM is a round Gripple suspension mount kit with a black back cover for MXA920 and MXA902 series ceiling array microphones. It suspends the round-format microphone from the ceiling using steel cabling and Gripple fittings, with a finished black cover for installations where the back of the array is visible. The kit suits commercial AV installations in open or exposed-structure ceilings.
Product Description
This round Gripple mount kit provides the suspension hardware to hang a round-format Shure ceiling array microphone, including the MXA920 and MXA902 series, from the ceiling. The kit includes side hooks, steel cabling, cable ties, and a round black back cover that gives the suspended microphone a finished appearance from below. Gripple suspension lets AV integrators set and adjust the microphone height above the meeting area during commissioning, which is helpful in rooms with open or high ceilings. The black cover is intended for spaces where the array is mounted in view and a clean underside is required. Cables of the appropriate length for the room and the ceiling-side attachment hardware are selected to suit the installation.
