Product Overview
The Shure A901W-R-GM is a white Gripple Suspension Mount Kit designed to suspend the MXA901-R Microflex Advance Ceiling Array Microphone from the ceiling using Gripple wire joiner fittings. The white finish is suited to commercial installations with white or light-colored ceilings, providing a minimally visible suspension solution for conference rooms, training rooms, and boardrooms where a clean installation appearance is a specification requirement. Cables of appropriate length and ceiling attachment hardware are not included.
Product Description
The A901W-R-GM delivers the same Gripple wire suspension system as the black A901B-R-GM in a white-finish hardware kit appropriate for white or light ceiling environments. Gripple wire joiner fittings allow drop height to be set and adjusted quickly without specialized tools — a practical advantage during AV commissioning when final microphone height needs fine-tuning after ceiling and furniture installation. The suspension approach accommodates situations where a rigid pole mount or grid-mounted tile bridge is not compatible with the ceiling structure, including open concrete ceilings with embedded anchor points, architectural ceilings with limited tile access, or design-forward conference environments where wire suspension is the preferred mounting aesthetic. Installers must source Gripple-compatible wire cable and ceiling attachment hardware appropriate for the overhead structure. The black variant is the A901B-R-GM.
