Product Overview
The Shure A901B-R-GM is a black Gripple Suspension Mount Kit designed to suspend the MXA901-R Microflex Advance Ceiling Array Microphone from the ceiling using Gripple wire joiner fittings. This flexible wire suspension approach is well-suited to commercial installations where a rigid pole or ceiling grid tile bridge is not practical, providing a clean, adjustable drop mounting solution for conference rooms, boardrooms, and open-plan collaboration spaces. Cables of appropriate length and hardware to attach cables to the ceiling structure are not included.
Product Description
Gripple wire joiner technology is widely used in commercial AV and lighting installation for its fast, tool-free cable adjustment and secure locking mechanism. The A901B-R-GM adapts this proven suspension system to the MXA901-R ceiling microphone, allowing integrators to set the microphone drop height with precision and adjust it post-installation without tools. The black finish is appropriate for dark ceilings, exposed concrete or structural environments, or installations where dark hardware complements the design palette. Installers must source Gripple-compatible wire cable of the appropriate gauge and length, along with ceiling attachment hardware appropriate for the ceiling structure type. A white version is available as the A901W-R-GM.
