Product Overview
The Shure A12B is a black microphone mounting flange for flush-mounting microphones into desktops, podiums, lecterns, and conference tables. It accepts standard 5/8"-27 threaded microphones and gooseneck bases, providing a permanent, low-profile mount for boardrooms, government chambers, and house-of-worship installations. The black finish is specified where the mount needs to disappear into dark furniture or hardware in a commercial AV install.
Product Description
The A12B installs into a drilled hole in a desk or podium and presents a 5/8"-27 female thread at the surface so a threaded microphone or gooseneck base can be screwed directly into the furniture. This flush-mount method removes the need for a separate desk stand, hides cabling below the surface, and delivers the clean sightlines AV system designers expect in permanent conference room and lectern installations. The A12B is the black-finish counterpart to the matte silver A12, letting integrators match the mount to the room's furniture and hardware scheme. As a fixed mechanical mount with no electronics, it works with any standard threaded microphone and needs no power or configuration.
