Product Overview

The Renkus-Heinz CA121M-RD is a self-powered 12-inch coaxial loudspeaker engineered for installations that require precise pattern control and fully redundant digital audio networking. It pairs a coaxial point-source transducer with the onboard SA625-RD amplifier module, delivering analog, AES/EBU, and redundant Dante connectivity under RHAON II network control. As a powered coaxial stage monitor and point-source loudspeaker, it is well suited to auditoriums, houses of worship, and commercial meeting spaces where a networked self-powered coaxial loudspeaker with Dante redundancy and remote DSP is specified.

Product Description

Renkus-Heinz CA121M-RD self-powered coaxial loudspeaker with SA625-RD amplifier module

The CA121M-RD belongs to the Renkus-Heinz C Series, a range of premium installation loudspeakers built around the company's Complex Conic waveguide technology for coherent point-source performance. The coaxial driver mounts a 12-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch voice-coil compression driver (SSC12-1) on a common axis, producing 80 degrees by 80 degrees constant-directivity coverage with a 33-degree monitor angle for floor-wedge or fixed-install use. The integrated SA625-RD amplifier module supplies 500 watts to the low-frequency section and 125 watts to the high-frequency section at 8 ohms, with multi-band peak and thermal limiting protecting the drivers. Connectivity covers balanced analog and AES/EBU on looping XLR-3 connectors plus primary and secondary Dante on dual RJ45 ports, giving the redundant network path that mission-critical installations depend on. RHAON II software provides eight fully parametric filters, high and low shelving and pass filters, and delay to 340 ms, all monitored and controlled over the network. The amplifier is built in the USA and runs on 100-240 V auto-switching mains through a Neutrik powerCON TRUE-1 connector. Because all Renkus-Heinz SA-powered models share the same control platform, the CA121M-RD can be freely combined with other self-powered Renkus-Heinz loudspeakers, including the company's steerable columns.

Key Features

  • Coaxial Point-Source Transducer — A 12-inch woofer and 1.75-inch compression driver share a single axis to deliver coherent, time-aligned coverage from one compact enclosure.
  • SA625-RD Amplifier Module — The onboard Class-D amplifier provides 500 watts LF and 125 watts HF at 8 ohms with native multi-channel DSP and multi-band driver protection.
  • Redundant Dante Networking — Primary and secondary Dante ports on dual RJ45 connectors maintain audio in the event of a single network path failure.
  • Analog and AES/EBU Inputs — Looping XLR-3 connectors accept balanced analog and AES/EBU sources alongside the digital network feed.
  • RHAON II Control and Monitoring — Eight parametric filters, shelving and pass filters, and delay to 340 ms are configured and supervised remotely over Ethernet.
  • Constant-Directivity Coverage — An 80 by 80 degree pattern with a 33-degree monitor angle holds consistent tonal balance across the listening area.
  • Selectable Mounting — Two M10 attachment points accept the optional UBRKT/CT121M yoke for wall or structural mounting.
  • US-Built Reliability — The SA Series amplifier is designed and manufactured in the USA and runs on 100-240 V auto-switching mains.

Typical Applications

  • Auditorium — Provides controlled, intelligible coverage for spoken word and music in fixed performance spaces.
  • House of Worship — Delivers natural music and clear speech with networked control for distributed sanctuary systems.
  • Conference Room — Supports high-quality reinforcement with Dante connectivity for AV-over-IP infrastructures.
  • Commercial Meeting Space — Integrates into managed networks where redundant audio transport and remote DSP are required.
  • Multi-Purpose Room — Combines floor-monitor geometry and install mounting for flexible room configurations.
