What is the RDL TX-TP1PW?
The RDL TX-TP1PW is a single-output power inserter for RDL twisted pair products. It powers remote Format-A senders and receivers from any convenient location along the cable run.
How does it work?
The module accepts 24 Vdc on either its power jack or detachable terminal block and supplies power to all modules on its dual-RJ45 jack set, while the signal pairs pass straight through. Each RJ45 output is rated up to 200 mA and protected by an automatically resetting fuse, with a green LED confirming correct output voltage and a blue LED showing module power. RDL recommends the RDL PS-24AX power supply (PS-24AS in the USA), and the module mounts with the RDL RC-HPS1, RDL TX-RA5, RDL MB-1 or RDL PM-1T. For multiple home runs, see the RDL TX-TP4PW.
What are the key features?
