What is the RDL TX-AT1S?
The RDL TX-AT1S is a single-channel 1:1 audio isolation transformer with transient and RF suppression. It couples balanced equipment to a balanced line where harmful impulses and RF pickup are likely.
How does it work?
All solid-state surface-mount transient suppression (no gas tube) is combined with ferrite high-frequency suppression. The 1:1 transformer has 600 Ω bifilar windings optimized for a low-impedance source into a bridging load, providing galvanic isolation. Input and output connect on barrier block terminals, and either side can be wired unbalanced. A common ground terminal connects to the metal support structure; the TX-AT1 is the version without suppression.
