What is the RDL ST-ACR1M?
The RDL ST-ACR1M is a STICK-ON audio controlled relay that switches equipment when mic-level audio is present. It lets program audio trigger relay contacts, video switching or other control functions automatically.
How does it work?
A multi-turn SENS trimmer sets the trigger threshold from -60 dBu to -20 dBu, assisted by a threshold LED. A multi-turn DELAY trimmer sets how long the relay holds after audio drops below the threshold, adjustable from 0.5 to 5 s. The double-pole double-throw relay contacts switch up to 2 A, and an open-collector SLAVE output (25 mA) can drive indicators or slave relay modules, or a TX-MVX video switch. The balanced bridging input connects across balanced or unbalanced lines, and RDL recommends the PS-24AX power supply (international) or PS-24AS (USA).
